NTTB numbers and player identity

Avoid incorrect identity matches when names, TTapp IDs and official ranking numbers appear together.

Three fields serve three purposes

A player name is readable but not unique. The TTapp player ID identifies a profile in the public competition source. The seven-digit NTTB number opens official ranking history. TTapp therefore treats these as separate keys and never joins two source records from a matching name alone.

Verify identity with context

Compare the club, team and competitions shown in search results. Open the profile and check whether an NTTB number is present. Use rating history only when that exact number belongs to the selected profile. When evidence is incomplete, leaving records unlinked is safer than combining two players.

Share a verifiable route

Share the player URL containing the TTapp ID, keeping season, pool and team parameters when they explain the selection. For an independent rating check, search using the NTTB number. Do not rely on a screenshot alone: a URL preserves source identity and lets another person repeat the check.
