Guide
Preparing practically for a match
A verifiable routine covering time, venue, equipment, warm-up and the opening points of a match.
Confirm the match context
Open the saved team and verify opponent, start time, venue and status inside the same pool. A postponed or cancelled status changes the plan; an empty score only means no result is available. Confirm your personal selection and transport outside TTapp with the team captain.
Pack and inspect equipment
Bring your match racket, practice balls, shoes, clothing, towel and water. Check beforehand that the rubbers are flat, clean and undamaged. The rules require a player to show the racket to the opponent and umpire at the start and whenever changing it during a match.
Plan a calm opening
Arrive early for a general warm-up and a short table routine covering movement, control, service and receive. Agree service and receiving order for doubles. A game is played to 11 with a two-point margin; service normally changes every two points and every point from 10–10.
