Guide
Reading team standings correctly
Distinguish played fixtures, points and official adjustment fields in a competition pool.
Start with played and points
For each team, first read the number played and official points. Source ordering and adjustments may mean a home-made calculation produces a different order. Treat the published standings as authoritative for this view, and treat missing values as unknown rather than converting them to zero.
Recognise official adjustments
A row can include starting points, an adjusted played count, unfinished points or a withdrawn marker. These fields explain why two rows may not compare through simple addition. TTapp presents them separately and does not reinterpret a technical source field named “wins” as team-match victories.
Connect standings to fixtures
Open a team from the standings and inspect upcoming and completed matches inside the same pool. Always verify that the team ID actually occurs in that pool table. Team names can recur elsewhere; the combination of team ID and pool ID makes the selected context verifiable.
